Update: Automatic Game Updates

I've finished a big piece of behind-the-scenes work: Millennium now updates itself.

One game, no extra launcher

When you start the game, a small window checks for updates and downloads only what changed, so a new update usually takes a few MB instead of the whole game.

Updates while you play

If a new version comes out while you're in game, you'll see: "An update is available. Restart now?" Press Restart and the game updates and reopens by itself, or press Later and it updates next time you start.

Safe and reliable

Every update is signed, so only official updates can ever be installed. Damaged or missing game files are detected and repaired automatically.

No internet?

You can still play the version you already have.

This means faster fixes and new content reaching you smoothly, with no manual downloads. More news soon, stay tuned!
